Mango Green Smoothie

A bright mango smoothie with spinach, banana, lime, and a creamy finish.

A Sweet and Refreshing Mango Green Smoothie

This Mango Green Smoothie is bright, creamy, and easy to make with simple ingredients. The mango gives it a sweet tropical flavor, while spinach adds a fresh green color without making the smoothie taste grassy or bitter.

It is a great smoothie for breakfast, a light snack, or an easy way to add more greens to your day. The banana helps create a smooth texture, and the mango keeps the flavor naturally sweet and refreshing.

‍

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen mango chunks
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • 3/4 cup almond milk, oat milk, or regular milk
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt, optional
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup, optional
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds, optional
  • 1/2 cup ice, optional for a thicker smoothie

‍

Instructions

  1. Add the milk to the blender first.
  2. Add the spinach, banana, frozen mango, Greek yogurt, lime juice, and chia seeds if using.
  3. Add ice if you want a thicker, colder smoothie.
  4. Blend on low speed, then gradually increase to high.
  5. Blend for 30–60 seconds, or until smooth and creamy.
  6. Taste and add honey or maple syrup if you want it sweeter.
  7. Pour into a glass and serve immediately.

‍

Blender Tips

For the smoothest texture, add the liquid first, then the spinach, softer ingredients, and frozen mango last. This helps the blender pull everything down evenly.

If you are using a Vitamix, start on the lowest speed and slowly increase to high. The spinach should disappear into the smoothie, leaving you with a creamy green blend.

For a thicker smoothie, use frozen banana or add more mango. For a thinner smoothie, add a splash more milk.

‍

Easy Variations

For extra protein, add a scoop of vanilla protein powder or use more Greek yogurt.

For a more tropical flavor, add frozen pineapple or use coconut milk.

For a brighter smoothie, add extra lime juice or a small piece of fresh ginger.

For a dairy-free version, use almond milk, oat milk, or coconut milk and skip the Greek yogurt or use a dairy-free yogurt.

For a smoothie bowl, reduce the milk to 1/2 cup and top with granola, sliced banana, mango chunks, coconut, and chia seeds.
