Peach Oatmeal Smoothie

A softer breakfast smoothie with frozen peaches, oats, yogurt, cinnamon, and milk.

A Creamy Peach Oatmeal Smoothie for Breakfast

This Peach Oatmeal Smoothie is thick, creamy, and lightly sweet, with the cozy flavor of oats blended into a bright peach smoothie. It is a great option when you want something quick and refreshing, but still filling enough to work as breakfast.

The peaches add a naturally sweet, juicy flavor, while the oats give the smoothie more body and make it feel a little more satisfying than a basic fruit smoothie. It is simple, easy to customize, and blends especially well in a high-powered blender like a Vitamix.

‍

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen peach slices
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup milk, almond milk, or oat milk
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt, optional
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup, optional
  • 1/2 cup ice, optional for a thicker smoothie

‍

Instructions

  1. Add the milk to the blender first.
  2. Add the rolled oats, banana, frozen peaches, Greek yogurt, vanilla, cinnamon, and honey or maple syrup if using.
  3. Blend on low speed, then gradually increase to high.
  4. Blend for 45–60 seconds, or until the oats are fully blended and the smoothie is creamy.
  5. Taste and adjust the sweetness or thickness as needed.
  6. Pour into a glass and serve immediately.

‍

Blender Tips

For the smoothest texture, blend the oats with the milk for a few seconds before adding the rest of the ingredients. This helps break the oats down more evenly, especially if you prefer a very smooth smoothie.

If you are using a Vitamix, add the liquid first, then the oats, softer ingredients, and frozen peaches last. Start on low speed and gradually increase to high until the smoothie is thick and creamy.

For a thicker smoothie, use frozen banana or add more ice. For a thinner smoothie, add a splash more milk.

‍

Easy Variations

For extra protein, add a scoop of vanilla protein powder or use more Greek yogurt.

For a peach cobbler flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg and a little extra cinnamon.

For a dairy-free version, use almond milk, oat milk, or coconut milk and skip the Greek yogurt.

For a smoothie bowl, reduce the milk to 1/2 cup and top with granola, sliced peaches, oats, and a drizzle of honey.
