Tropical Mango Pineapple Smoothie

A sunny smoothie with mango, pineapple, orange, banana, and coconut milk.

A Bright Tropical Smoothie That Tastes Like Vacation

This Tropical Mango Pineapple Smoothie is sweet, refreshing, and full of bright fruit flavor. Mango gives it a smooth, creamy texture, while pineapple adds a tangy tropical sweetness that makes the smoothie taste fresh and sunny.

It is a great smoothie for breakfast, an afternoon snack, or a warm-weather treat when you want something cold and easy to make. With just a few simple ingredients, you can blend up a smoothie that tastes like it came from a beachside smoothie stand.

‍

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen mango chunks
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 3/4 cup coconut milk, almond milk, or orange juice
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt, optional
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup, optional
  • 1/2 cup ice, optional for a thicker smoothie
  • 1 tablespoon shredded coconut, optional

‍

Instructions

  1. Add the coconut milk, almond milk, or orange juice to the blender first.
  2. Add the banana, frozen mango, frozen pineapple, Greek yogurt, lime juice, and shredded coconut if using.
  3. Add ice if you want a thicker, colder smoothie.
  4. Blend on low speed, then gradually increase to high.
  5. Blend for 30–60 seconds, or until smooth and creamy.
  6. Taste and add honey or maple syrup if you want it sweeter.
  7. Pour into a glass and serve immediately.

‍

Blender Tips

For the smoothest texture, add the liquid first and the frozen fruit last. This helps the blender pull everything down evenly and creates a creamier smoothie.

If you are using a Vitamix, start on the lowest speed and slowly increase to high. Use the tamper if needed to push the frozen fruit toward the blades, especially if you are making a thicker smoothie.

For a thicker smoothie, use less liquid or add more frozen mango. For a thinner smoothie, add a splash more coconut milk or orange juice.

‍

Easy Variations

For a creamier smoothie, use full-fat coconut milk or add half an avocado.

For extra protein, add a scoop of vanilla protein powder or use more Greek yogurt.

For a greener version, add a handful of spinach. The mango and pineapple will help keep the flavor sweet and tropical.

For a smoothie bowl, reduce the liquid to 1/2 cup and top with granola, sliced banana, pineapple, mango, and shredded coconut.
